We allow others to manipulate us because we live in conflict. On one hand, we believe that we do not have things like respectable educational background; money; connections and on another hand we believe we have a right to grow. We refuse to come out of our conditioning. We refuse to believe in ourselves and in our capability to grow. Hence, we accept others slavery so that we can use their resources to grow.
